We're off in our touring caravan 3 weeks on saturday.
- we are travellling a huge distance - about 40 miles!! - our caravan lives there and its such a pretty village in Lincolnshire. (more like a small town)
Lots of countryside, not too far from the coast, lots of cycling and walking, woods for the children to get lost in - no, play in!
I just hope it stays dry for at least most of the 2 weeks - dont expect a heatwave anymore - just a bit of sun and dry weather!

Going to France (Brittanny) booked shally,
can't wait, but ........ I will sadly miss my cousins wedding in London would have been more fun at the wedding which takes 5 days filled with fun, :dressing, dancing, henna night and many more aaaah!!!......
well I am sure we shall enjoy our lovely holiday too!!!
I've booked:
a cottage for 8 of us in Anglesey
a week in Majorca for 4 of us
a girl's weekend in Bedd Gelert North Wales
A week in a cottage (myself, youngest son, my mum and dad) again in North Wales
I came back yesterday from a no children allowed cruise round Turkey and Greece.
It was great, don't get me wrong I love children (of course) but not to have them on the boat was bliss.
The places we went to were fantastic and I can thoroughly reccommend Thomsons Cruises, the shows were out of this world and everyone was so friendly.
Enjoy your holidays where ever you go

No holiday for us this year. We go alternate years and recently booked two weeks multi centre in Florida, Orlando and Clearwater beach for next August. It's going to be a long old wait till then.
Plus I'm moving this summer holidays, so a holiday is out of the question.
Would love a week off to myself with no distractions....I can but dream
We got back from Orlando a few weeks ago and I'm really suffering with the Disney Blues. I wish I could live over there!
We had a fantastic time; me, DH, DS and DD plus my mum, dad and sister. We stayed in a villa with our own private pool, did all the Disney parks, Seaworld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens, Universal, Islands of Adventure, etc etc! SUCH an amazing time. I reeeeeeeally want to go back! Planning again for 2014!
After sulking that I wasn't going anywhere I have just been treated to a whole two nights child-free in a 4* spa hotel, I feel very lucky!
I'm probably going to Ireland in September. One of my lo's parents moved back to Cork last year and they've asked us to go. I'm nervous about going on the ferry though in case I'm sick. Not my idea of a holiday, being sick for a few hours on the first day!
I want to go to Devon and Cornwall too, we were booked to go there last year but my Mum died so naturally cancelled that. I really need a holiday now.

And I very nearly booked a week over Christmas in Lanzarote but chickened out as it was too expensive
I'm a bit of a bargain hunter so the holidays didn't cost a lot - honest
The week in Majorca for 4 of us (got flights for £517 and apartment for £250)
The Anglesey cottage was £925 between 8 of us
Girl's Weekend away in August was £92
And I'm being treated to the week away in October by my mum.
Holidays have always been my thing - I look everyday to see the apartments we are going to as it keeps me going when I get soaked 3 times a day doing the school runs.
Have never been to the USA - our local airport (less than 1 hr away) now does flights to New York and my middle son would really like to go
