WOW don't be disheartened, you've done brilliantly so far. Look at me I had about 4 weeks of none budging, I stuck to it (give or take ) & it paid off.

Yep, any loss in the right direction is good. Having not lost any last week I have lost 5 this week . Can't believe it, but I went on a ten mile hike yeasterday, lots of huge hills so that must be what does it for me. I am now 12 stone eight pounds, so one more pound to 2 stone, nearly half way there.

5 lbs is amazing, I've been going gym & swimming although missed 2 sessions last week but now the light nights are here me & hubby have talked about going on some nice long walks.

Feeling inspired by your success ladies - so here goes. Day 1. Will go and weigh myself once the schoolies have gone ( scary!). Have promised myself several times lately that I will start my diet and have failed spectacularly within the day. Feel a little more motivated today so wish me luck!

Good luck. Take it one day at a time and one pound at a time.

Good luck mama Jelly is the ultimate dieter in my book, she really does well. I have really good weeks then go off track for a week and Jelly keeps me going.

I had a naughty weekend, dads bday Fri (out for an Indian meal) my friends 40th (party + food + alcohol "although only had 4 vodka & diet cokes from 6.45 till 1pm & drank just diet coke in between")
Out for dinner Sunday family get together but did go for hour half walk after
I'm out tomorrow night for a friends birthday dinner
My birthday on Thursday so going out to dinner then too

But guess what.......I went clothes shopping on Saturday & bought 2 pairs of trousers......size 10 whoooooooooooooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooo

Not done that for a few years

OOh Mary size 10, I am so pleased for you...........and a tiny bit envious . Hope I get into size 10 this year. I was size 18 at the start of this diet and I am now squeezing myself into a 14.

Also you have a great social life

but day one went ok ish. Not an angel day but sooo much better than a normal day so a step in the right direction. Did chicken out of weighing myself though!

I was just struggling to get into my size 12's and be comfortable then started to buy a few size 14's for myself when I started slimming world!!

So although I didn't have to loose loads I was struggling to loose it on my own, up down up down but only a few pounds...

I dare say some shops I will still need a size 12, I've set my new mini target to loose another 5 half lbs then like I've said previously I will weigh what I weighed on my wedding day
