Well done, i also struggle with the social side of eating, as a family we enjoy going out for a meal, this is sometimes where my dh gets frustrated with this diet

Good luck for Satirday, i am getting weighted on Sunday then starting to introduce food ready for my hols on Thursday, then get back on after hols

    Hi all

Just got back from my weigh in.......I have lost 7lb this week

Thats a total of 17lb in 12 days.

Yesturday was torture, I spent the day at my sisters cooking for her party tonight, so I was surrounded by food all day!
Its the party tonight, she is having a Barn Dance and a Hog Roast.
The smell of the pork cooking and all that crackling Mmmmmmmmm, my will power will certainly be put to the test tonight.

I'm realy chuffed with myself for sticking to it, I'm taking it one day at a time.

I have now knocked the soups on the head and I am having 2 shakes and 1 bar a day, which I found so much easier this week.

Good luck to everyone being weighed today

Good luck with tonight but remember how well you are doing and try and stay on track, just remember your end goal and think about how this is just one night to restrain yourself for,and hopefully by the time the next party comes around you will be a dress size or 2 smaller

    I did it!!!

Got through the party without eating

It was realy hard, I had people sitting next to me with big Roast Pork Rolls with crackling and loads of pasta/rice/potato salads etc.

Anyway 2 parties down I just need to get through the Christening next weekend and then it should be a big less hectic.

I felt a right muppet sitting there with my diet bar and everyone else was tucking into platefuls of scrummy grub.

Think thin, think thin, think thin..............

    ARGHHHHHHHH

I don't know how much longer my will power will hold.
I'm not feeling hungry but I am fed up with watching everyone eat, not being able to go out for a meal, not being able to pop into starbucks for a coffee and a cake while out shopping etc etc etc.

I now cook the evening meal and then go and sit upstairs on the bed watching tv or reading while they eat it.

I just want to be normal again!!!!

This is week 3 and I am realy struggling

Oh hun stick with it, the social thing is by far the hardest to control

Just think of the results, i used to make myself sit at he table just so we could still have a family meal together, but i did refuse to go shopping with dh as that always ended with food

    Keep up the good work

    Thanks

I do find the social side the hardest part of this diet.
Today for instance myself and a friend took our children to the sea side for the day. Watching the kids tuck into Fish & Chips was torture.

I just looked out of the window while they were eating and tried not to breath in the lovely smell of the vinegar.

I bought a top about 3 months ago that I realy liked but when I got it home it was two sizes smaller than the lable said. I liked the top so much I kept it to slim down into.

    Well today I wore it

    I have droped 2 sizes in just under 3 weeks, i've gone from a size 32 to a 28

    I'm realy chuffed with myself

I'm a bit fed up today, had my weigh in and I've only lost 3lb this week
I know this is still a good weight loss but I just feel like ......Arrrgh I've not had a morsal of food in my mouth all week and I've only lost 3 ruddy pounds!!!!

But I've got to look on the bright side, its 3lb off not 3lb on!

Total weight loss to date (3 weeks) = 1 stone 7lbs

Toothfairy you have done so well, i'm doing the same diet and know how hard it is hang in there though. It is still a good weight loss and like you say at least its a loss.

My DH (well not that darling at the minute) is sat on the settee eating fish n chips, it is killing me the smell of them, oh if only i could only have 1 and be satisfied.. If i don't loose after sitting on here instead of eating them i will cry .

You are doing so well on CD well done

I have been doing CD since April and have had ALOT of social events which I have to admit didn't always result in me being good, however I have lost 4 stone which I am so happy about!!!!

When things get a bit rough remember why you choose this diet and visualise how you eill look when you are say a size 20. Maybe even start a journal and write in it every day how you are feeling etc......another good idea is to take a photo of yourself maybe every month and then you can see the difference, (I wish i had done this)

Good luck and remember we are always here for support!

    Thanks everyone

I measured myself today and I have already lost 2 inches off my waist, hips, bust and thighs and 1 inch off my arms.
Not bad for just under 4 weeks.

I have come upstairs as hubby is cooking the girls tea and the smell is torture.
My stomach is burning, I am realy hungry today.

My next weigh in is on saturday, I will let you know how I get on
