    Talking Shake it Baby!

I am all set and raring to go - CDC was lovely, even if she got my name wrong . I cant wait till the 1st few days are out of the way and am hoping I actually like the shake in the morning I forgot to ask - does anyone know if you can chew sugar free gum? Also I got a breath freshner spray but it has glycerin in - is this ok?

My starting weight is 13st 11lb but its not the heaviest I have been so thankful for small mercies!

Off to cancel my WW subscription now!

Good luck Sharon.....I am sure you will do great!

The best thing to use is either mouthwash or a fresh breathe spray.....you can also use those mint slither things (sorry don't know what they are called) but they are like really thin sheets of mint things that you just lay on your tongue.

It is not recommended that you chew chewing gum purely for the reason that as you are chewing you are encouraging your stomach to produce gastric acid as it thinks that food is coming. This acid can have various side effects such as making you feel hungry and even more problematic you could end up with indigestion. Also the continuous chewing could bloat you out with air/gas.

If you were desperate and didn't have any mouthwash or breathe spray around then you could pop in a piece of sugar free gum and literally chew for a few minutes and then get rid of it.

THanks girls, I am quite excited - sorted all my clothes out yesterday - the size 16's are ready & waiting! Hope to get in some of them mid week next week.

Thanks for the advice Dee, I had thought about chewing gum while I prepare the lo's food as I am a ****** for popping a piece of this & that- will just have to spit it out if I do lol!

Had a fruits of the forest for breakfast - it was ok, better once I put some ice in to make it colder! I did this diet about 20 years ago when it was very new and it was revolting then - so I have a slight mental block about the taste but I will persevere. I feel really full at the minute - cant even face a coffee lol!

Hope every one else is feeling strong & focused, I'm going to need you for the next few days lol!

Going to see if i can get some ketosticks later.

Day 3 and feeling fine! Had headache last 2 nights but nothing Paramol couldn't deal with! Felt a bit hungry at bedtime but not too bad, the spicy tomato soup tasted much better than it smelt Expecting to hit a wall any minute but so far so good - I am even sitting here in a pair of size 16 jeans I would never have done up on Sunday Bring it on!

Fanfare please - I lost.................... 8 1/2 pounds!! and 7 inches around the body!

Well pleased, mum noticed I'd lost some, I haven't told her what I'm doing as I would get a lecture lol!

Have to endure a saturday night without alcohol tonight - cant remember when the last time I did that was Wanted to go to the cinema but there's nothing on in our local flea pit Normally if the children are at my mums for the night we'd go out for a meal & a drink - never mind - I'll stay in and think thin instead
