Embarassed or Pleased????

OK I'm no lightweight

but one of the mindees has just been collected and the dad said "You appear to have lost some weight ...... is everything ok?"

I have lost a stone - but hey! I needed to

I go on holiday in 6 weeks and ideally need to lose another stone

I'm now all embarassed because Mr R has noticed

- strange

Why couldn't I just accept it as a compliment??

Aren't we women weird ........

Thats great, I'd be well chuffed if someone noticed I'd lost weight (which I haven't - but need to!)

Good for you!! and how fab that one of the dads of all people noticed.

i am like you, I would be very sceptical and assume that they were only worried I was ill and wouldn't be able to look after their children
