Re-registration

Hi, I used to be a registered childminder and I would like to re-register. I just wanted to know if I need to do all the courses again? Pre-reg etc... I still have first aid and food hygiene. But a bit useless if I need to do the courses again as I was childminding for several years.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ... sorry, but I think if you resigned your registration, then you have to start from scratch again. Contact your LA and ask.

Hi, I think that if you've resigned within the last 3 years then you don't have to do the course. My L.A. told me that because I resigned in 2007 so I had to do the courses. It is best to ring your L.A and Ofsted.
