Yay, I did it! pre reg is over! :D

Mrs inspector lady came out this morning. Had a quick look at my policies and a very quick look at my ra's, had a look round my bungalow and asked me some questions which I was well prepared for and all done!
She's going to register me for my maximum children which is 4, 2 above 5 and 2 in the eyfs( one of those can be under 1).
Just need my certificate and hey presto I can childmind

Can I start advertising yet? I do have a little boy waiting to start already so hope they don't take too long with the certificate. How long did other peoples take?

i am in same situation, had my visit friday and all good! im just waiting now...

i have wondered the same, i think i will start advertising because certificate should only take a few weeks fingers crossed.

In my area both times i reg the certificate was very quick. Up here we have to print our own certificate off and mine was ready 4 days after my visit.
Shouldnt be long for you well done

You could have already been advertising as long as you had stated "in process of registering" or something similar so if any body does contact you just explain the situation

First if all, well done!
As for advertising I have been told by my own inspector that I am not to start advertising until I am completely ready to start minding; 'in the process of registering' is not acceptable. But your inspector may tell you something different.
