Default Newbie with a couple of q's!

    Hello all,

Just after some advice really. I am just starting out on the journey to becoming a childminder. I have completed my two per-registration meetings and am booked onto my four day course in March. I'm starting to get really excited (and slightly impatient lol,) and am thinking about things I can do in preparation.

I just wanted to ask what I can do now, I really want to draw up a list of things that I can do a little research on such as insurances, policies etc. Does anyone have any tips? I suppose I should just be patient and wait until I've started the four day course! But any tips would be really welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

You should get most of the information on the pre-reg course... there will be time enough to put everything else in place while you are waiting for all the CRB and doctor's checks to come through!

    Good luck with it all
