I am now officially an ofsted registered childminder yey. Im pretty proud of myself
To all those thay are awiting their visit and are nervous as anything my advice would be just to be organised and make sure you have read the eyfs statutory guidance and filled in your preparing for your inspection booklet which you got at the briefings, I personally didnt need to refer to my booklet but filling it in helped me to think about it and remember the answers. The inspector was very impressed, she said i come across shy to start with but she can tell im passionate about what I want to do and am very knowledgable and she said she thinks id make a wonderful cm and I have some lovely ideas to do with the children. Yey. So happy. Sorry for any spelling errors my mobile is terrible for typing on. Any nervous people wanting advice just ask i'llbe happy to help.

unfortunately none lined up yet, going to stay in my job a bit longer yet but see if theres any interest as when i spoke to the local authority on demand in our area they said there wasnt really any. my inspector thought it strange though as she rarely gets called over here to inspect people as potential minders.
