    Exclamation CYPOP5 Help!!!

Grrr only just finished task 2 and already have so many questions. Im doing the course through NCMA online learning and I am struggling with this way of learning. I have been assigned a lead mentor who lives in Southampton and im in Farnborough so not someone who i could just pop round to.
Anyway does anyone know if the policies and procedures can be on the same document or do they need to be seperate? also do you need to actually say Policy: ............... Procedure: ............? I have done one document for each ie Safeguarding Policy and Procedure and then written a series of statements.
It is so hard producing work without examples!!!!!!
    Thank you in advance xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Yes a policy and procedure is the same document. for example...

Safeguarding policy - I will protect children from harm. This is your statement.

Safeguarding procedure - to protect children from harm I will... this is your procedure, the way you do what you say you will do.

You can use bullet points or sentences. The most important thing is that you use plain English and don't copy someone else's work, it must read as the things you will do.

There is a list of statutory policies and procedures here -

And you might find some help here -

I put them in the one thing which saves time and paper as there are so many to have.

i dont usually put policy or procedure in title for that reason

eg I will just title it (to use sarahs example ) "Safeguarding children" and then explain that i will protect the children (policy) and then explain how i will prorect them (procedure)

Thank you both for your replies, it's just that it says write 4 policies and 4 procedures and i just got confused because i have seen example policies before and they have all had the procedures written on them not seperately. Thank you for the links Sarah707. xxxx

They might be on the same document, but they're usually separate sections.

A lot of companies keep them on the same document so that the link between them is clear.
