waiting pre-reg visit

hi am becky new on here! All my application has come back fine am ready of ofsted beeing waiting a while now ring them the other day there just said there have until the 20th june to make appointment with me for my pre-reg visit, i've just took a pre booking for a full time baby to start in august. hope there get a move on.

any advice?

Hi i now the feeling, i feel like ive been waiting for ever too but i was told the deadline doesnt really mean much just that ofsted will try to get them to call sooner. I too have parents waiting but most of mine are for september starts but i still need to plan to ask for a variation or an assistant so the sooner they visit me the better.

Snap i am waiting still too !!

I even rang them up today to see what was happening aand all they said wa that they still had some more checks to do and that they have got 5 more weeks to contact me

thats forever away, sooo not fair !!

I havent started advertising yet but i might start soon and hopefully can get a mindee or two in the pipeline for when i finally do get registered !!

Which part of the country are you 2 in as sometimes it depends on your area and mine is west yorkshire.

i had my reg-visit today passed am east yorkshire

all together my re-registration took 11 months

was a nightmare!

Ofsted phoned yesterday for a pre visit today. ofsted will have my info by monday so hopefully certificate wont be far behind as i need to apply for an assistant.

Apparently in the derbyshire area they've been right on the ball doing all our pre reg visits. I'm still waiting on my CRB to clear, it's only just started it's progress. A person i know on the courses hers took 3 weeks and she got called up soon after for her pre reg.
