update on my social services!

Hello everyone

I posted a note a while ago about how I was STILL waiting for my ss checks to be done even though Ofsted had said they requested them early may time!

Well, just to give you an update - I've been on the case with it...phoning Ofsted and stuff and finally things seem to be moving!

I was told there was a backlog in my area and was so cross about it (my crbs have been back for some 2 weeks (?) now and pre reg was weeks ago!)
I phoned my childminding support team at the council and they put me in touch with the department at the council end who deal with the checks.....anyways.....

That department said they "never received a request from Ofsted" to do a check for me (although Ofsted say they have sent reminders!!) so.....needless to say with a bit of phoning back and forth....I've just got a call (from the department who do the ss checks) that they have faxed all through to Ofsted...all clear and fine....PHEW!!!!

I know Ofsted have said all other checks are done so fingers crossed I might get my certificate soon!!
