Hey,
its early days to worry about this and it may not even be an issue when the time comes, but...
my 13 month old son is breastfed as and when he likes it still! He seems to be weaning himself off day-time feeds although some days he seems to go back to tiny baby mode and asks for it all the time! I know that by the time I'm registered he could be 18 months or more and may have completely weaned himself by then but I plan to have more children one day (not too soon tho ) and they will be breastfed too!
So my dilema is, what is ofsteads take on this kind of thing? Would I have to hide away in another room to feed my son or should I just let potential parents know that I breastfeed and if they are not ok with it then suggest they found someone else? And just let the kids ask questions if the subject arises?
I have a mummy who is keen for me to take her 5 year old son once I'm registered, but she has already said she has no issue with it as she is still breastfeeding her daughter the same age as my son!
Phew... this was a long-winded post! And I'm sure I have many more important things to be worrying about as far as registration goes... just wanted to get it off my chest (no pun intended ) so that I wasn't worrying about it!
Thanks you muchly in advance for any replies!
