    Default Total newbie questions

    Hi,

I am just looking for a little help please. I am just in the process of starting up and am attending the EYFS course ran by my LA. I have 2 main questions:
1 Do I need to register with Companies House if I am a self employed childminder?
2 I have dropped my Health Declaration off with my GP to complete and send to Ofsted and have started my DBS check application. Do I need to do anything with Ofsted to inform them that this info will be received by them, like set up an account or something?

    Any help would be great
    Thanks

You need to register with HMRC as self-employed:
Register for and file your Self Assessment tax return - GOV.UK

Company's House if for limited companies, so not for us.

Ofsted registration is an online process, I hope someone comes along with more info (I registered years ago so it has changed since)
