Hey everyone,

I passed CYPOP5 so have this, I also done a safe guarding children but didn't get a certificate and am not sure how I would get this as I have left the job now so I guess i'll need to re do this? I have Level 2 food hygiene.

So I need
DBS checks for me and my husband
Safeguarding?
First Aid

So anything I have missed off my list?

Hi,
Have you checked with your Local Authority whether they run any training for Childminder applicants?
Most LA's seem to have cut back on their training, however my LA did safeguarding, arranged first aid and did a couple of others (a short business course and observation & planning) for a charge of £50. There seems to be a lot of variance on what LA's provide but it's worth asking the question if you haven't already done so?

On my safeguarding course the certificate was in back of booklet we were given could yours be there? If not can you remember the dates of your course you could try contacting local safeguarding board to see if they could send one out to you if course was through them x

Try and print of the better food better business booklet on food hygiene it's really handy to have.you will find ito. The gov website.xx
