Pre reg visit booked! Eeeek

Ts been a loooong process but the end is in site. My pre reg visit is booked for the 18th July. I feel quite prepared I have started working through my booklet, I have policies done just need to do complaints, risk assessments are done and getting house sorted. I live in Sheffield and all support for childminders has now gone so this forum has been a great help.

I had mine last week and I found it a real positive experience. I got loads of ideas and it was more just a general chat.

You can get the booklet off the ofsted website. Its called preparing for you registration visit.thank you everyone I just want to get it out the way now. I have parents waiting so really hoping it goes well.

Glad your visit went well littlerabbits. Mine went really well and also being recommended for registration! I am sooo excited. Can't wait to get my certificate and get working. It was nearly as bad as I thought it would be. So glad it's all over now.

Congratulations! It is such a long process isn't it..mines finally booked for next tuesday...Think i'm ready but still everything going round in my head incase I forget something! 4 days is great! I was expecting that to take weeks like everything else (fingers crossed it doesnt!)

Have you had ur certificate yet pinkzed? Ive been having missed calls from 'no caller ID' all week but as I work 8-6 in a nursery and not allowed mobile on the premises, can't answer it. Theyve not left any messages either so I don't know who it is. I thought it was prospects ringing as they phoned from no ID to book my pre-reg. ive phoned Prospects, theyre not sure. Oh and they sent my pre reg report friday so Ofsted should have today. Waiting waiting....

Ooooh Yay great news! Well done!! Phoned Ofsted Friday n they hadnt received report but phoned prospects today n theyve sent it now. Fingers crossed be soon!!
