After interviewing parents...

Hi,

I'm just after some advice for after you've had the first meeting/interview with parents. Do you follow it up afterwards? And if so how long do you wait? Or do you just assume they don't want to use you?

I always make sure I get an e-mail address or mobile number and then follow up the meeting (that evening or next day) saying something like "thank you for coming, it was lovely to meet you and X - please do not hesitate to phone, e-mail or text if you have any further questions or would like to bring your partner/husband for a visit - please note that childminding spaces are allocated on a first come basis"

I usually don't contact them. x

I don't contact them either. I always make sure they know they can call me if they think of anything else they might want to know and I leave it at that.
