DBS police check

Hello everyone! I am currently waiting for my DBS check to come back. My partner and I both applied 12 weeks ago. I've rung capita who have told me that I need to contact the local police force dealing with my check. I'm getting so fed up waiting as Ofsted won't come and do my pre reg visit until the DBS comes back. How can I speed this up?

Good news! DBS has been completed and dispatched today!!! PHEW 12 weeks later its finally done. How long now will it take for Ofsted to come and do my registration visit?

I got my dbs on Monday, I emailed it on the 3rd of December my partner got his back straight after Xmas,but least done now, I'm just wondering how long for ofsted, my partner been off work for 2 weeks ,now going back Sunday getting him to paint and do stuff is a nightmare, I know how long it would be waiting he would do the work but don't want a phone call saying there be there in 2 days, as can't see him doing the work, men...

Gosh that is a long time I did one for someone just before Christmas and it was complete by 6th Jan and we had all the paperwork a couple of days later. so 3 weeks with Christmas and New Year in between.
