My doctor wants £60 for signing my health declaration! Is this about right? Seems far to much to me. He has had my form 2 weeks now and still not been signed. I think it's disgusting.

Unfortunately it is down to the individual doctors' surgeries to set their own fees for "private work". Private work includes filling in forms, work medicals, exotic vaccinations, etc (basically anything that is not covered under their NHS agreements)
On the scale of what I have seen charged to members on the forum yours is pretty reasonable, some have been well over £100!
Don't forget that this will count as a set up expence so you can set it against your accounts when you register. Make sure you keep the receipt.
Is seems to vary hugely! Mine was £25 but have heard of much more being charged! Xx
I had to pay £100 as its up to the doctors what rhetoric charge
I only had to pay £17.50 for mine and I know another cm who actually changed Drs so she had to only pay £20 instead of £90 that her original Drs were charging. X
Mine was £40
CSSIW welsh registry has a part on the application that says that you can declare yourself as medically fit. You can use a doc if u want but it is costly! Just check the application or maybe call them and say can I declare myself? I have just registered and didn't use my doctor. Hope this helps xx
Thank you! At least I know it's not way over everyone else now! It's only a few ticks in a box it's so annoying.
I will keep the receipt thank you for that advice. I may well have forgotten.
Hi
Mine cost £50 as it wasnt a full medical. I made an appointment to see the GP but told the receptionist what it was for!! ( didnt want the form to go missing).
And of course, you can claim the money back from your expences
£35 here I just handed it over with ofsteds address
Mine was £15 but I've heard of some that have charged as much as £150, depends on your gp! Xx
