Hi can anyone help plz. Do I need to pay the registration fee when I send the registration forms off to ofsted or do they tell you when to pay the fee.

Might be different with ofsted but I am in scotland and the care inspectorate don't look at an application until the payment is made x

Thanks I think I'll give ofsted a ring or try to because its an automated system and its hard to talk to anyone to get an answer.

Hi ya they will send a invoice through the post and you can pay online or over the phone . I've just done mine .

The invoice Should be sent automatically but mine wasn't and this delayed my registration. Phone them if it doesn't come within a few days of sending the form. Continuous phoning and enquiring was the only way I got my application sorted. Good luck!

I sent my registration forms off then recieved the invoice for payment a couple of weeks later.

Thanks for your help I sent mine off a couple of weeks ago and haven't herd anything since.

Ok do I phoned them and they lost the forms which I sent through there online porthole and to top it off I paid £25 for a doctors report for them and they lost that too. Not going to spend more money for another one when its their fault not mine and they have put me back in my registration too. I'm not happy at all. Sorry about the moan
