    Do I need to have completed any further training. other than CYPOP5, to apply for the childcare register?

    Not as far as I know. Just first aid certificate.

    The requirements for registration on the childcare register are here -

    Ofsted | Factsheet: childcare - Requirements for the Childcare Register: childminders and home childcarers

    You won't need extra qualifications if you have training in the common core or level 2 as detailed in the requirements.

    You should ask Ofsted if you are unsure.

    Yes I think ita just the first aid certificate but would help to do the safeguarding children
