ofsted pre -reg visit tomorrow! any tips pls

Hi i have my pre reg visit tomorrow morning and all of a sudden in a blind panick! i have my policies and procdures ready, sample menus, about me form, ive even done a sample learning journery to show my understanding of the eyfs, ive completed the preparing for visit booklet, and im currently reading through again to refresh my memory

The house is clean and tidy and all saftey in place, and the kids are going to nursery ...all sorted.

any tips i would be grateful? is the pre reg visit normally quite informal, im scared! not good at being put on the spot xx

Hiya, you sound well prepared and like you have everything in place so the advice Im going to give you is...Be yourself and relax. You'll be fine, the lady who did mine was really lovely. Good luck xxxxx

Relax! I was the same in March Like you, I was very organised and was surprised at how relaxed it was (although she was here for 4hrs!!!)

What I got most out of the session was reassurance and confidence. This is such new ground for me so to hear the inspector saying that she was impressed with what I had done/understanding of EYFS etc, left me smiling. It was also a fab opportunity to act like a sponge and ask lots of questions!!!!
