    Hi im completeley new to this and im sorry if its already been asked. I have just moved into my first home and i want to start childminding. I want to know if you need to change anything on your mortgage or if your mortgage repayments go up?

    You need to inform them and your payments might go up - it depends on the company.

    Ring them tomorrow and check!

    Your mortgage company needs to know from the point of view that you will be using the house for a business. I have never experienced, I have had 3 mortgages since starting minding and have never paid an increased rate because of my work.
