Default Look what my husband has made for us

My husband is a DT teacher and has made me one of these. I first saw it at the Nexus stand at the Childcare Expo in September. My mindees love it!

Thanks. He reckons he can do them in any size to order and the pegs can be in the form of shapes, letters or numbers. No sharp corners and the screws are all countersunk for safety.

Thats brilliant , what a clever hubby you have. I'd like to get one after Christmas,

just a tiny question .. do they have to be wall mounted or could they be used free standing?

Mine is wall mounted but I'm not sure if they are too heavy to have free standing, but I will ask him for you. He has a habit of doing the impossible.

    Monkey.....Horsehay/Lightmoor Village

I am 'reliably' informed he can basically do anything...outdoor ones, free-standing (so you don't have to attach it onto the wall), or in any size you want. He might also be able to attach a mirror on it, so the children could see themselves playing. If you want a made-to-measure one he can even do that.

I've packed him off to school this morning with a spring in his step and a whole head load of ideas and he's going to have a play in his lunch-time and see what he can come up with.

Wow, I am amazed by everyone's comments and the response has been huge. My husband was in work at the crack of dawn this morning and has modified the design and will place updated photographs on ebay over the weekend. In answer to everyone's questions he can do pretty much anything you want!!! All he asks is that if anyone wants one before Christmas, please let him know before his end of term (December 15th). Any further questions, please ask him directly through ebay.
