    can i have my 17 year old daughter as an assisstant? can i put her wage through as expenses

    It is always best to contact Ofsted with this sort of question - 0300 123 1231

    And check with the tax office about income implications

    I understand that Ofsted require registered assistants to be 18yrs and above.But,yes your daughter can still work for you and be paid a wage,but not as your assistant......washer upper maybe or a tidy upper??!!!Hope that helps.
