Very useful thanks
Thats great, thanks alot!!
Anybody know of anything similar for older children 3-5 and 5-8? would be really helpful
that's great I've been looking for something like this as I have one lo who hardly eats (gets bored sitting still!!) and one who doesn't stop (he'll eat until you don't give him more and then still try to eat of other children's plates!!!) Good to have some general guidance
I have a book from a course for 1-4 years and they also do 5-10 and teenage books BUT they are £30 a book! Needless to say I only have the one I got free website is www.cwt-chew.org.uk Book is good but I cannot justify buying the older one at that price but maybe a group could buy as a communal resource
Hmmm...
I had a friend here, her son is a year older than ds. Ds isn't a big eater - probably mostly average portion sizes.
We had pizzas for tea. Ds ate 3/4!!! Her ds ate 1 slice.
Portion sizes are ok for a rough guideline... But really all kids are different!
Typos-iPhone,NOT me!
Actually looking at that chart again... Ds would go mad if I kept to those portion sizes! He didn't eat a lot up to two and now he eats all. The. Time. He is skinny as anything too. I really think an overall knowledge about nutrition is better so you can suit it to your child
