Its been all over the news about the rising cost of childcare how its stopping mums from working etc. They also pointed out about the cuts to the tax credits and the childcare vocuhers.

But one mp did come on and say well thats the choice you face both parents go to work and one could stay at home with the child

Nothing about the rising costs people are having to face so both parents need to work.

Oh and on the same news program about them wanting to scrape the higher rate of tax from 50p to 40p. But nothing about helping the poorer people

Yes, i saw it on early morning tv too. Various points made about the rising costs and how parents can't afford childcare - almost paying most of their wages for the care in some cases. One thing it didn't touch upon was why it was so expensive - like what we all have to go through, courses, resources, government expectations etc.....
