Default Number of children in care

I have been getting several enquiries lately and have been trying to fit everyone in

I am only doing before and after school and have no children now in EYFS, the youngest child I have is 5 in Sept (my own son)

I have been contacted by someone who just needs help till christmas for 2 days a week, one of the days is fine the other would mean I would have possibly 9 children aging from 5-9 (4 would be 8+ and 3 are 7) looking at the schedule I have it would only be for 6 afternoons in total up to xmas. I am fine with that as the children are all lovely and play nicely - but I was not sure about Ofsted numbers and if there was a limit on how many children 1 person could have on their own.

My insurance seems to cover it

over 8`s are not counted in numbers so as long as you didnt go over the ofsted ratio or your insurance ratio i think mine is 12, then its ok with them, depends how you feel with them all at once, good luck xxx
