    hi im in the process of registering and someone asked me what i was going to be called, i know it is run as a business rather than just looking after children but i have no idea where to start in even thinking of a name, do u have to put your name in? or what else could you use?? please help? ? lol

    I am named after my local town.

    Some minders choose a catchy name like nippers or kiddies...

    Other people use their name... Kim's Childminding sounds nice

    thanks for the help! someone else suggested Mitchells Mindees but wasnt sure if mindees sounded like a slang term! still on the pre reg course so suppose i got plenty of time to think .. thanks again x

    ah thats a lovely name! this is thing ive found the hardest , should probably get on with my polocies and procedures but o well. still got 4 weeks left of pre reg so plenty of time i suppose... thanks again everyone x

    You don't HAVE to name your business... its just that lots of people choose to, usually after they have been minding for a short while and really get in the swing of things Mine are called 'JoJo's Giggle Monkeys', i think its catchy and monkeys is definately right for my lot! Haha! The logo looks good on business cards and headed paper too, oh and its written on the kids tshirts HTH xx
