Just a quick question,
How often do you all do a fire drills weekley monthly etc???

hello, i do mine monthly, different days different times, even make the kids go out if i burn the Toast haha. not sure if this is the offical way, just thought it was better to do it more then less!!! hope someone can some along and give you the official line!!!

I do them every two months and include testing the smoke alarms at the same time. Not sure what the "official" timescale is though.

Monthly here too with different children each time to try and get them all used to it. Never go longer than 2 mths without each child doing a drill.

I do mine monthly & like a few others have said, on different days, with different children.

I also try to do an extra one within a coupl of days of a new mindee starting. I mainly look after babies, so the drill is to make sure I can get them all out safely.

About every 6 weeks or when a newbie starts - remember on your records to note how long it took to evacuate the house (OFSTED are looking for under 2 minutes)
