    Default musical instruments?

    Hello,

I would like to buy some new musical instruments. I would like some wooden ones - good quality and suitable for babies (I have a 14 month old musical child who likes to put anything and everything in his mouth!)

Can you reccommend any sites or shops that have reasonably priced ones?

    Thank you.

    I've got this:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/WOODEN-MELOD...8547039&sr=1-4

it's not cheap, but it's great & the children love it.

they are so expensive, I rely on second hand, sales and hand me downs for the nice wooden ones.

    That is lovely!

TTS have some nice musical instruments but again the wooden ones are pricey.

Keep a look out at car boots and charity shops.

I recently saw some lovely wooden instruments in the mulberry bush catalogue. I thought they were quite reasonably priced but not sure if they would be suitable for such a young child. I'm thinking about buying some for dd at Xmas because she loves to make a racket
