Her LO was sick several times Thursday night and last night and hasn't been eating. Can I still have her on Monday as she is only being sick at night?
NO!
What difference does it make what time of day she is sick, someone please enlighten me!?

If LO isn't being sick today then wouldn't it the 48 hours be up on Monday?
Paula
Yes, unless she is sick tonight. She said she's still not well so she's expecting her to be sick tonight. She must think that if she's not sick in the day she wont be sick while she is with me therefore it's ok.
cheeky .............hope she doesnt say she hasnt been sick though if she really has tonight
thats a downfall that comes with the job hey ....parents telling fibs x
That's exactly what i'm thinking, she probably will lie to me. In the past she has told me when collecting LO that she was sick the night before....wouldn't mention it in the morning though! She knows the rules, I even gave the parents a copy of the HPA poster!
You could always say give me a ring on Sunday adn we'll go from there. x
i don't know if this helps at all (probably not).
BUT, the nursery that my DD goes to has a 24hr exclusion policy on sickness...so if there's vomiting it's 24hr, but if it's vomiting AND diahorrea it's 48hr.
Its 48 hours from the last bout of sickness (or diarrheoa sp?), so to attend on Monday morning, say 8am mindee needs to have had NO episodes since Saturday 8am.
I use the HPA guidance which says 48 hours.....the nursery should use it too as far as I am aware?BUT, the nursery that my DD goes to has a 24hr exclusion policy on sickness...so if there's vomiting it's 24hr, but if it's vomiting AND diahorrea it's 48hr.
