    hi

Get in touch with the nec, national extension college, www.nec.ac.uk i am not 100% sure that they do the first icp but i am doing the diploma in homebased childcare units two to five, but i am sure i read somewhere on their leaflets that they do all the units (1-5)

    Hope this helps

    jen

You can do it home study but it's a lot more expensive than going on a local authority course, so they tend not to encourage / fund home study.

There are lots of providers though - your CIS should be able to point you in the right direction.
