    hi can you apply for variation if a new child u are wanting to start not a brother or sister

    Ofsted only usualy grant variations for continuity of care (siblings, change in parents' working hours). They don't usually allow them for taking on a new child.

    Why not give them a ring, tell them the circumstances & see what they say. I've always found them very helpful.
