    Default Parent on Maternity Leave?

Parent due to go on maternity leave. Advise on charges please. Two children currently attending my setting. One will be starting Reception in September and the other is 2 and 7 months. They current come to me 3 days a week. If parent wants to drop a day while on mat leave any suggestions as to charges?

Are you sure parent won't just have kids at home completely?? You obviously know she is expecting so i don't think its unreasonable to ask her what her plans are. She might not want to pay for a space for the older one if they are off to reception so you will need to know if you need to fill the space.
If they want to drop a day then i would just charge the usual 4 weeks notice to change contract and allow it - usual charges for the other 2 days.
I personally won't keep the spaces open for less than full fees as I need the income.
    Blessed Be!
