just told parents I'm closed tomorrow AGAIN due to illness....

.....they must be sick of it (excuse the pun).
3 weeks ago my ds was ill with v & d, caught from mindee - 2 days closed. 2 weeks I was bad with flu like symtoms, caught from mindee - 3 days closed. Now ds has awful mucky, red swollen eyes and bad chest and cough. There is no way I would accept a child into my care if they were in his state so I'm closing tomorrow and taking him to drs.

I know my son is more important than anything but still feel like I'm letting parents down a bit. Why should I feel guilty?

youngest has just started puking everywhere (all over the landing to be precise) so looks like I am cancelling part of my week!

I know how you feel.

I have to go on a course during the day and then one morning its my dentist appointment and my dd 1st dentist check up which we cancelle already last month.
You feel guilty because you care...BUT your family comes first.
