uni?

hi when do students find out if they have got on a uni course? a parent of mine is waiting to find out but i need to know soon as they will need more days and will take up the last of my spaces if they need all the days, on the other hand they might not come at all in which case i need to start advertising!

they should have really had some offers of a uni place by now based on their predicted grades, my son has had his offers and now has to decide whether to accept or not, if they haven't then they would go to whats called clearing in August and will be offered what places are leftover after everyone has accepted.

this is an adult not a school leaver who applied just before the closing date in january which is why i am wondering if she will get on or not, is it different for adults than children?
