    hi do we do risk assessments on toys ive no idea

    i do not i think we have enough to do i do a daily risk assesment where i have acheck list of things i check everyday my equiptment is on this it just says indoor resouces and out door rescoures, i dont risk assess each one individual.

    I just put, sharp edges, wooden toys for splinters, leaking batteries etc,

    check toys conform to appropriate safety legislation, use age appropriate toys etc

    The Eyfs says you must risk assess everything a child comes into contact with...

    So yes, you need to risk assess your resources both inside and out
