How about childsafe mirrors so they can look at themselves a lot and from different angles?
make a little board book with their favourite colour, animal, toy etc, one on each page, a photo of them maybe?
Do finger rhymes that point out hands, feet, nose etc so they begin to get to grips with different parts of their bodies.
Do names, touch their hand to them and sya their name, touch it to you and say yours, so they begin to see them selves as having a separate identity.
hope some of that helps!

thank you where can i get mirror from
From expensive catalogues, or from ikea, they have several options, or use normal mirrors and look for the clear sticky stuff to go over the top that stops them shattering and risk assess them so that you always observe the children when in use!

there very nice but expensive like you say mite have to try shop about
little pop up tents are good. you can fill with balls, or cushions. I usually then hide lots of sensory stuff in there, shiny lids, little hand held mirrors, materials and noisy toys.
hi found some mirror on a roll which might be cheaper and you can cut it to the shape that you want.

It arrived 2 days ago, its really good ....not as sharp and clear as a real mirror but as good as the mirror pages in books. I have covered my small circular table in it for the children to play on, it will be interesting to see their reaction tomorrow The rest I am going to cut shapes from and stick on toy boxes and units at a level for babies and toddlers.Really good value at less than £8 a roll
I just bought one of the mirrows in a roll, can't wait to receive it and put bits everywhere, they love looking at themself around here lol
