DH wanted to throw one of our broken ones away and I had to sit him down and give him a lecture on inclusion.

    Oi give it back Sarah

Yes I think Sarah must have been referring (somewhere?) to my one legged doll.

I have several 'amputee' dolls. They have lost arms or legs and more often than not the children say that they should be thrown away. I explain that we wouldn't throw them away if they lost their arm or leg, but would still love them just the same because they would be no different inside. They always look on the doll differently after that and will play with it without comment.

Might not be a perfect 'disability' doll, but a lot cheaper! Of course they are checked for safety before giving them to the children
