    Default Sleeping babies

Should I be keeping a log detailing the times I check on them?

I note the time they go to sleep and wake in their daily diaries and the one that sleeps upstairs I have always gone up at least every half an hour (is that enough?) as well has having a baby monitor on. The other baby currently sleeps in the pushchair downstairs so I keep a regular eye on her as well.

I found a template for a sleeping baby record and wondered if it's a requirement that we fill one in? If it is where do I file it - in the child's individual file or in a seperate sleeping baby file?

I don't keep a log either , but I made sure the Ofsted inspector saw me setting my alarm to remind me to go and check the sleeping babies when they were here.

Thank you - I thought I was going to have to go back over the daily diaries and fill them in!

I do have a sleeping child policy and it states that I use a baby monitor and visually check them regularly.

I don't have a risk assessment for sleeping children though
