Best thing would be to get some good virus checking software, there are some free ones out there. I'd recommend that before using any computer to download anything or even have emails come in for that matter!

Just a little reminder, if you are going to keep parent and child information on your computer you need to consider how the Data Protection Act affects you.

I understand there is a part of the software given free as an incentive to buy the rest but I haven't looked into it fully myself yet
