Ideas for Xmassy pressie for Autistic mindee

I am having a tremoundous problem coming up with a pressie for my 10y mindee.

I know abt his current interests, but not sure if I should get a book on subject cos it is more catered to a much younger child.

Also child suffers from irritable bowl syndrome and mum mentions that he has to be really careful with his diet, so can't ply him with chocs and sweets.

He is with me for abt 10-15 a day, so no time really to ask too many questions.

Any suggestions, please

There are colouring pages in the book that you can leave for a brother or sister or just about anyone to help the child along

my son is on the autistic scale and we havent bought anything different for him, he is getting lego this year amongst books and a wii game.
could you get him a small lego toy or a binoicle or maybe a joke book, horid henery ones are great.

That is very true the little girl I mind and children before her have had normal toys like you say

The books that I suggested are what they use at school so were familar with and the stories are nice

Is there anything that the child likes - most like colouring in and that sort of stuff too just like any other child

We tend not to treat her any " different " anyway

My stepson is autistic and has never had anything different from others

Although this year he has a dsi his 4th as hes broken the rest, so maybe something wrapped in bublewrap
