Sorry I've got no idea what you mean so I can't help you.

Who told you this and what exactly were they talking about?

I've got no idea at all, sorry. Maybe it's a local thing to your area?

Will you see the other childminder again to ask her to remind you?

Never heard of that. Are there any other childminders at the school you could ask? She might just be trying to put you off as she sees you as 'competition'.

    oh just wondered.

Some of the childminders at the school I pick up from are very funny. One won't talk to me at all. Never has, never will. I have been picking up from there for a couple of terms now as my mindee started there. I am not looking to have anymore after schoolers so no competition to her whatsoever.

Maybe you should ask the school direct, I've never heard of anything like this, once your registered there should not be any other courses you need to attend.

Unless it is connected to the extended schools where they are supposed to use existing providers in the area. Maybe the school has some kind of training to make sure you are registered or something (or am I just babbling lol more than normal)

I didnt have to do a course to pick up from the school, but I had to prove I was police checked to help out or go on trips, maybe this is what she means.
