    Default please help me with my new mindee!!!!!! (fees)

    Hi,

    Please can anyone advise me;

    I'm going to be looking after a child after school one day a week from september during term time. The mum has just emailed asking me whether i will charge full/part or no time for school holidays. I hadn't even thought that through as I expected that I would only be paid for term time. Would you charge for the school holidays?

    Also How much would you charge for a dinner for one child?

    Thanks in advance xx

    i don't charge my after schoolies at all during the holidays - they just pay a week's fees before the hols to keep their place or the next term.

    i would charge £1-£2 for dinner if i charged seperately.

    If the child was 8 and over I would just do a term time contract and if under 8 I would charge 50% deposit. Food is £2.00 per meal here

    It all depends upon whether you have other children who are wanting the place in the holidays anyway. If you are keeping the place free in case the parent wants to use it i would charge a retainer or half but if they don't want to keep a place in the hols then nothing.

    I don't actually charge extra for meals.
    I'm not paranoid - the world IS out to get me!
