    Default Carbon Monoxide Alarm

I bought a Carbon Monoxide alarm back in January. It is a sealed unit and says is lasts about 6 years. I have occasionaly pressed the test button.

Very very unfortunately I chose to do this yesterday but the button got stuck My husband was ready to smash it with a hammer. I called B&Q who said to take the battery out but when I said it was a sealed unit they said bring it back as it was.

My head was ringing by the time I got to B&Q with it blaring away in the car. I got some very strange looks in the shop!! Thankfully she gave me a new one!!

What a nightmare, lucky my son wasn't in your house, he has serious sensory issues.

nightmare ... my son wouldnt have coped either, he freaks out at the fire alarm and I had to get rid of a toy due to its loudness.

Glad you got a replacement though. Might be worth pressing the test button just a little more frequently!
Busy losing the will to live mwuahahahaha!
