Anyone run a toddler group??

Have just taken on the running of our local toddler group. Does anyone do something similar to this - am after picking some brains etc!!!

not quite, but am on the committee of our local childminders support group.
you might want to think about things like having a couple of you run it together, overseeing the running and the financial side of things. also you will probably need public liability insurance??? keep a book of who attends (adults n kids) each week (fire reg). you can also check this all with the people who own/run the building you have the group in.

I used to be chairman of a playgroup many many moons ago. Don't know if I'd be much help as legislation will have changed so much. Can help with fundraising ideas etc if any use.

Nice to see others who run one too.
I have run mine for 10 years and its great to see children enjoying activities and playing together. Also nice for moms/nans/other childminders too.
