    Default Ofsted activity

Hi, I have my ofsted inspection loomng, and I am trying to organise my day with outside and inside activities for by big day. I was thinking about putting my 2 under 2s in the bath to play with cups, filling and emptying etc. Do you think this is ok??

Whatever you do make sure the children have done it before (so there are no surprises) and that you can fully supervise them all the time.

I would never recommend anything too labour intensive during an inspection because you will be pulled all ways by an inspector who might be asking you questions and you will be nervous and needing easy things to focus on.

Don't forget to risk assess the activity especially if you do go ahead with water play!

I agree with Sarah - don't go with anything new I tend to do things that I know the children enjoy and that will leave me 'free-ish' to talk to ofsted woman (or man!)

Don't forget the parental permission forms for putting the mindees in the bath.
Ofsted might pull you up on that
