I bought mine in B&Q and it does the job well. There are some that are too shiny so you cant read the chalking on it but the B&Q own make is perfect

I got some from B and Q, was about £7 for a pot, the pot looked small but it went a long long way and I have loads left!

I got 2 pieces of exterior ply wood, painted one pink and one blue (the chalk board paint comes in all colours then screwed them to the fence posts.

I think I gave the wood 2 coats but it dried instantly so was a really quick job.

my hubbie made one for me recently, same as below, bought some plywood and black paint from wilkinsons, I think it was their own make, hubbie put on 3 coats and works brilliant. Depends how big you want to go but we used the smaller pot about £4.99.

    Children love it.

Got mime from B&Q 4.5yrs ago made big board out of exterior ply 2 or3 coats and I have a long piece of rope through the top and hang it over the fence.
Must say it goes in the shed in wet weather and when not in use in the winter.
