Fantastic meeting this afternoon!

Hi all,

Well I think meeting Mum and 3 week old went really well this afternoon! We got on really well and she was asking lots of questions. She wants to come back and meet the rest of my family with her husband. It will be early morning starts (6.30am) but is only 2 days a week. This isnt until July so he will take M place when M moves so no need for a retainer, I have just asked for a weeks money as a deposit.

While she was here the phone went! It was another Mum with a 10 month old looking for care 3 full days a week from February. So she is coming round with her husband on Friday evening.

And I have the Mum looking for temp care coming on Wednesday too! Not too sure what to do there as I cant have her all the days she wants if the Friday Mum wants me too but Friday Mum is permanent. I can have her for 3 out of the 4 days though so maybe that will be of some help.

Im so excited, you all said the phone would ring and you were right! I have had 6 calls in 48 hours now.

Dont forget to make it clear that the depoist is none refundable if she does not take the place - make her sign a form so she understands this

Thats the worrying bit, meeting the rest of the family!

DD has aspergers so is unpredictable at the best of times! DS1 is 10 and a general pain in the behind but lovely with it.

I will just have to bribe them

I will have to give J notice though if I take on the Friday baby but I cant afford to turn down £100 a week for £21 really

Also feel now I am in a position to charge temp babies Mum a retainer if she signs.....

DD1 keeps asking why Im walking round with a big smile when no one has signed anything yet! Lol
